PIERCING AFTERCARE
- Do not remove jewelry under any circumstance
- You may purchase a shorter post once swelling subsides
- Avoid cleaning with: alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, neosporin, or antibacterial soaps. These products can damage cells and harm the piercing.
- To clean piercing, we recommend using a saline based hypochlorous spray such as a briotech
- Spray entry / exit of piercing both morning and night
- It is not necessary to rotate the jewelry when cleaning
- Expect redness, swelling, tenderness, itching, and a fluid which may harden to a crust. Please leave this crust alone, it will fall off when ready
- Avoid trauma such as friction from clothing, vigorous cleaning, and playing with the jewelry. Trauma can cause scar tissue, migration, and prolonged healing
- Do not submerge your piercing in pools, lakes, oceans, or jacuzzis for for at least 4–6 weeks
- Please feel free to call either of our locations with any questions
