Our Story
Lifelong friends Sean Roth and Eric Evans started Oak and Poppy to bring high-quality tattooing and piercing together with a welcoming, professional experience. In the past 10 years, we’ve grown from one studio to multiple locations, with more on the way. Our focus is simple—do great work, treat people well, and keep improving everything we do.

The Partners
Sean Roth and Eric Evans entered the tattoo and piercing world as teenagers and spent 15 years working together before opening Oak & Poppy in Woodland Hills in 2016. Success led to a Beverly Grove studio in 2024, with Old Towne Orange set for 2025. Built on trust, community, and lasting relationships with both clients and coworkers, Oak & Poppy continues to grow while staying true to its roots.

Our Team
At Oak & Poppy, our success comes from our people—many of whom have worked together for over 20 years. With exceptionally low turnover, clients see the same familiar faces visit after visit, creating real continuity and lasting trust. Our team values the opportunities and creative freedom, making Oak & Poppy a place where growth, independence, and strong relationships with clients and coworkers thrive.
